Leon sat there, listening. He was mystified. So Donny hadn't been lying. He'd been telling the truth. Whatever happened to Donny anyway? He hadn't spoken with him in years. Mentally, he shrugged.
She was right. It would be best to "fix it." Although, Leo honestly didn't see what was wrong. Maybe she had a boyfriend or something, and didn't want him around. His heart dropped. That would suck. Especially if the guy was bigger than him and could easily beat him up--
And then her teeth were sinking into his flesh again, and his whole body stiffened. Absently he thought about how she had first kissed his neck, and he liked the way that felt. But then there was that nice sensation of her trying to get out the stupid venom. His hands clutched the table, and he squeezed his eyes closed. A soft gasp emitted from his lips, and he could barely resist the urge to yank himself away--he knew if he did, he would just make things worse.
Surprisingly, he lost his appetite when she had finished. He sat there, eyes still shut, fists still gripping the table, his knuckles white by now. "Done?" he mumbled through barely moving lips. "Damn, please be done." He felt weak, as well as no longer being hungry, even though she hadn't really done much of anything besides remove the venom.
And even more stunningly was the fact that mentally, he was unchanged.
Oh, and the cut was still bleeding. That's kind of vital information, isn't it?

Lydia was worried that he would not do well with all of this, and truth be told he didn’t do all that well. She felt him tense up at the bite, and one of her hands immediately went to his back, rubbing in order to relax him. Still she had to make sure that he didn’t move all that much. This was almost painful for her as well, and so she could just do what she could.
She could see how his knuckles were white. She didn’t want to cause him pain. But because he tensed she had no other choice. It was his muscles constricting on her teeth that caused him pain. If there was a better way she would have found it. She wanted him to relax, so as soon as she was out of his neck her arms were tighter around him. She was trying to calm his central nervous system through compression, and she could only hope that it would work some. Her forehead was against his cheek, and her eyelashes close enough to brush against his jaw.
“I’m done, I’m done and you are ok. Everything is fine and you’re…” She paused, how was she supposed to say this? “You are free of me now.” She needed to feed, she knew that now. She definitely had to find some blood or else she risked drinking his.
That was when she smelled it and looked. He was still bleeding. Quickly Lydia had an arms under and around him. “Come over here.” She lead him to the couch and laid him down. She nuzzled into his neck and licked the wound.
She felt it heal and she licked up the remaining blood. She looked up, the sun had set. She checked his pulse to make sure he wasn’t in any danger before she headed out. She needed to feed, needed to badly and she knew it now. She figured it was about 7 or 8 and it might take about an hour for him to recover.
“Leo I’m going to go out and hunt. You should rest though you’ll be fine soon. I’ll come back later tonight to check on you. You can go out if you feel well enough.” She kissed him on the forehead and stood up, heading out.
