Viv needed a break, and though she really wasn’t much of a drinker she went out. She usually liked to go out in a group, and she had made phone calls but no one was available. She was not surprised as this was so last minute. Vivienne knew what a hassle it was to drag yourself out after a full day of work when you were trying to relax. That was why she didn’t push it. However she did the normal preparations. Viv got herself all dolled up within reason and headed down to the town square. She loved this area of Simbol most of the time.
Of course there were things about Simbol that she didn’t like. It was crazy how high the crime rate was here. She saw the evidence of that everywhere. She was tired of seeing marks on bodies that she didn’t understand, that frightened her. There were bodies drained of blood with marks on their necks, almost as if some vampire had gotten hold of them. There were claw marks as if beasts had attacked. All those things could not be true though, such creatures didn’t really exist.
She had taken public transportation as her car was still missing and that way she didn’t have to worry about sobriety. So in the first half hour she put away a beer and a shot or two. She was all set to nurse that buzz until it was going, perched happily at the bar and watching the Dolphins game on TV.

Sometimes, he liked to stand in the corner near his office, doing nothing but surveying the bar. He kept an eye out for anyone who looked suspicious, like that Riley dude that once tried to take him down. Or maybe he was watching for a few easy girls to swing by, looking for something he could offer. Neither seemed to exist today, and he couldn't say he really minded.
His eyes landed on a girl looking a bit younger than him sitting in one of the farthest bar stools. He stepped over to her from behind the counter, resting his elbows on the counter and raising his eyebrows as he spoke. "A pretty lady like you shouldn't be out without a man on her arm, am I right?"

Viv had her fingers crossed while the team went for the touchdown. She let out of slight sigh of frustration when they did not accomplish it and instead had to hand it over. This was a frustrating game to say the least, but she was given her space. That was a good thing in this particular situation. She finished up another bottle and put that down on the table when she heard someone address her. Viv looked up in surprise and over at the man she didn’t recognize.
”You might be,” replied viv with a smile. ”However tonight that is just what I am doing. I should probably catch a bus home soon though. Are you here along as well?” She was starting to get tired and she was fairly certain that she was going to get called into work tomorrow anyways. It was nearly time for her to call it in as a result. She turned and got up off the bar stool.
