DESPERATION'S BLIND DEVOTION
******** I cherish all the words All the unspoken moments Every little look All the lovely accidents
Your fingers brush my hand Electricity sent in motion Racing up my spine Desperation's blind devotion
I swear that you were looking I felt it in my veins I could feel your heart beat Through the silence that remains
With all this going on around you It astonishes me still How you can look so empty And even that gives me a thrill
Suspended in nostalgia Those wondrous yesterdays How did they go so far Oh so far away?
Your silence keeps me company Illusions of what was I was promised forever By the ghost of your applause

Woah. *-* Forrey, this is amazing. The title itself is gorgeous, but the rhythm, the way it rhymes, how it flows so nicely... I love it.

Oh. My. Gosh. *.* Lovelovelove. Especially that last verse. And the title. And the second to last verse. And the first one. And all those splendiferous little verses and words in between. ... I think you get the point.
