Gavin sat at the bar. He'd been there for atleast a good thirty minutes, just drinking water. Why was he even here? He didn't drink alchohal..or atleast, he had never tried it.
His eyes were glued to the TV that was showing a soccer game. It was the only one with soccer on, all the rest showing some tv show or a football game.
"Excuse me" He said as the waitor-bartender person walked past "Can you order food at the bar still?"
"Yes sir. What can I get you?" the person asked
"Just...a hamburger with a side of fries" He said, nodding and watching at the person nodded and strode back into the kitchen that was connect with the bar. He was starving..

she murmured to herself, then looking up to see a soccer match: Germany vs. Brazil. "Ooh" she leaned forward, trying to get a better look. Then, not talking to anyone in particularly, she asked "How's it been so far?[/ul]

Gavin looked up; the voice had scared him, suprisingly. He settled back down, glancing back up at the screen "Pretty good" He spoke, "Germany's winning" He shrugged, nodding.
His food arrived and he gladly said thank you to the waitor and popped a french fry in his mouth, biting down on the strip of fried potatoe. He had skipped breakfast, and lunch. Well, not so much, considering it was still pretty early in the day, but this would probably be all he ate today anyway.

she replied, her thick Australian accent coming through. She then took a moment to look at the boy. He looked her age, and was fairly good looking. Her eyes then glanced up at her forehead, and she pulled her beanie down a bit further- not wanting her ears to be seen. A clank of glass hit the table, and she saw what she had ordered, a beer. See gulped in anticipation. This was her first alcoholic drink- she was never invited o those teen parties where everyone gets drunk and startaking out- and he couldn't wait to taste it. The ozi picked up the bottle and took a swig, smiling happily. [/ul]

Gavin glanced over at her, watching her take the drink of the beer. As many times as the Rizaki had been here, he had never even taken a drink of a beer. He just wasn't interested. Yet, he still got a fake ID that let him get inside. Gavin was pretty sure they knew he wasn't legel age yet, but they didn't care since he never ordered a beverage with alchohal, just water.
Taking a bite of his hamburger, he glanced over again after chewing and swallowing "I'm Gavin" he said, almost randomly.

She chuckled for a minute, loving her name and it's length. Her mother and father were a bit, er, extravagant. "But you can call me Flo," Now that she was actually engaging in a conversation with him, Florence took the time to actually look at him. He had nicely cut light blonde hair that fell a bit shaggily around his face. Though, she had quite a short attention span, and didn't care to look at the rest of him- the game was getting intense.[/ul]

Gavin looked over at her, really looking at her "Wow. Long name" He commented, then shrugged "Flo sounds alot easier to remember to" He chuckled slightly. He took in how she looked, noting her hair, and her facial features before turning and taking another bite of his hamburger, eyes turning to the screen.

She asked, feeling odd, as though she were in a movie or something. That's a line from a movie, right? She thought to herself, pondering it. Maybe it was more popular in America or something like that. She allowed that to be her answer. Though she had been in Simbol for several months, Florence was still trying to get used to the new slang and customs of the country. She very much adored some of them, especially the food. "Usually" he said, shrugging and popping a french fry in his mouth, glancing over at her "Only when I have nothing else to do." He listened to her voice, and after thinking for a moment, he asked "Are you from Australia?" Gavin's head tilted slightly to the side, his eyes sparkling with interest. He loved accents, considering his voice was pretty normal after a blend of many heritages and growing up in the city.

She mused, chuckling and biting her lip. She couldn't really believe that he hadn't noticed until just then- her voice was so strong that what he had just asked her was usually their first comment when she first talked to them. "I moved her a month or two ago," She added, nodding. (sorry for the crappy post. x.x)[/ul]

Gavin chuckled, shaking his head "I tend to be late to notice things" He joked, taking a sip of his water and glancing back at the soccer game "Thats...really cool actually. I've always wanted to visit there, but sadly, never been out of the country. Really, not even out this half of the US." He laughed, grinning.
(Tis fine :3)

She muttered quietly, putting her head into her hands and staring furthermore into her glass. Finally, she snapped herself out of the 'trance' she was in when the announcer on the screen began screaming 'GOAAAAAAAAL!'. She shot her head up and darted her eyes to the screen, where a man in a German uniform was running around the field goal-side of the other team. She grinned. "Yes!" She shouted, putting up her hand for a high-five from someone and then realizing that no one wanted to high-five her. She put her hand down. [/ul]
