Keirance Annabelle Péfu keirance may be looking for a boyfriend, but it's not a they're-in-love-in-three-days thing. (;Keirance walked through the school, her long blonde hair swaying behind her. She wore another unique outfit today, a seventies-style floral and lace dress, which reached right above her knees. A tan sunhat rested on top of her blonde hair, and she wore teal makeup, to match the dress and the bow on her hat. Her shoes were white ballet flats, which were actually very clean. Keirance finally reached her locker, which consisted of schoolbooks, makeup, a back-up outfit, paper, a notepad - which she grabbed hastily, wondering how she'd forgotten to take it with her. Then, Keirance closed her locker and made her way for the doors; it was her breaktime, and she'd waited for the hustle and bustle of the the other students who chose this time for break, to die down. She made her way out quietly. Keira was a woman of few words; she liked to pick and choose them carefully. As she searched through her jumbled thoughts, her eyes landed on Emanuel, who was sitting on the bench - which about a billion girls (and boys) surrounding him. Keirance gave a sigh, her teal blue eyes searching every bit of him. Keira gazed at his defined features with fascination; most of the girls at Jefferson adored him. She usually didn't fall into the category of 'common interest' usually, but there was something about Emanuel . . . his dark, just-out-of-bed brown hair, his intense green eyes, and his clothes. Oh yes, his clothes were definitely gorgeous, Keirance thought. Realizing she'd never have him all for herself had been a blow when she first met him as a freshman. Emanuel is the It guy at Jefferson, without a doubt, and Keira was nothing even close to the It girl. With another sigh, Keirance walked over to the large maple that overlooked most of the school. She dropped her books at the bottom of the trunk and climbed up without a problem; even though she wasn't in her puma/mountain lion form, she had grown accustomed to climbing trees as a /human./ Keira sat down on one of the highest branches, that could still hold her body weight. She looked around with a sigh, loving the peace of the moment. Keirance clutched her golden lily flower locket to her chest for a moment.

M A T T K O B E D I L L A NMatt ventured outside, and saw all the girls, and even the guys, surrounding that Emanuel kid. Matt shrugged. He really didn't care about the popularity thing, it bored him.Instead, Matt sat down on a bench and opened his guitar case. He pulled out the sleek, wooden, acoustic guitar and began to tweak the knobs on the end. Once it was tuned and ready to play, he started to strum an instrumental he had created, which was titled "Blue Birds On The Wind." It seemed to fit the mood outside. Everyone was chatting and talking, the wind blew only slightly, giving the warm day a nice, comfortable feel to it. The song fit perfectly, in Matt's opinion.Matt kept on strumming the tune, until it ended with a final chord. He sighed, and then didn't know what to play. No other songs seemed to fit his fancy today. He started to hum a different song that had lyrics to it. It was actually "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid", but he didn't care. Classical music really wasn't his thing, anyway.

ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN isabella worked her way through the crowd, out the doors of the school. her large floral bag slung over her bare shoulder, and sunglasses over her eyes, she felt whole and good. she let her eyes wander the school yard, studying the unfamiliar faces, some catching her eye with their beauty. she watched a blond girl set her things at the trunk of a tree and climb up.isabella was slightly..surprised, but, then she reminded herself that everyone at this school was supernatural, like herself.
isabella had been attending jefferson for only three months, and she still felt awkward around everyone. she'd been set apart from everyone else because of her fascination with fire, although some acknowledged her, only sometimes. she still sat alone at lunch, however, something she didn't really mind. she just opened up her lunch, and stuck her ear buds in, most of the time. on her first day, however, she had been assigned to some chatty werewolf, who showed her around the whole school, and ate lunch with her. that was pretty much the only interaction she got.
isabella spotted a guy on a bench, playing on his guitar. he was really good. but, then he stopped. he's puzzled, isabella guessed. she began to make her way over to him, but stopped dead in her tracks when she caught his scent. vampire.was she really going to stop herself from talking to him because of their differing species? she shook her head to herself, and continued on. she took a spot on the other side of his guitar case and smiled.
"you sound good," she told him, with a nod. she never did tell anyone, but she had learned guitar on her own, on a guitar she had found in the alleyway. she often went out to the mall square and played, while singing, with a hat in front of her. one summer, she made a total of three-hundred bucks, playing lady gaga and other requests. she was rather proud of herself, actually, when it came to the instrument.

M A T T K O B E D I L L A NMatt picked up the stench of a werewolf. Sighing, he turned towards it. It was a girl, and she didn't seem to want to hurt him or anything. She couldn't. He thought. Your species overtakes hers by a mile."Thanks, I guess." He said, and sounded bored. Matt continued to hum the Offspring. He wondered if there was any gullible human girls just waiting to be bitten outside the school yards. He doubted it.Matt looked up at the blazing sun, and held up a hand to block it. He wasn't perfectly hydrated, and felt uncomfortable. Sighing, Matt left the courtyard and parked himself against a wall in shade.

ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN "i'm isabella," she began to say, but then he stood and left. "well then.." isabella muttered, watching the male get up and leave. she did, however, feel tears well up in her eyes. she knew not to be dramatic, and yet, being new to the academy, she felt as though that had caused him to leave. with her sunglasses over her eyes, she felt free to cry; no one would see her runny make up, or notice the glistening salt water running down her face. so, she lowered her face, her eyes parked on her bright, busy shorts. she rearranged the bracelets on her wrists as she let slow, silent tears fall from her big brown eyes. some fell onto her ray-bans, and she ignored them, closing her lids over her eyes and falling into short sobs.
isabella's mind reeled; she felt very stressed, left out. she felt her zippo in her pocket and had to strain herself not to reach in and grab it, to watch the flames lick her skin. no. she couldn't. that would further widen her..un-wanted-ness.
isabella let her eyes wander on her shorts, and they soon landed on the vampire's guitar case and guitar that he had left sitting next to her. she let her hand stretch out and she grabbed the neck of his guitar, pulled it into her lap, and began to roughly strum "temporary home" by carry underwood. she hummed, too, and soon she found herself singing the words softly, to herself almost. she let her voice travel along the wind, and many kids looked over at her, fascination on their faces, like, 'how could this new girl be so good at this instrument?'. she smiled at them, and, before she knew it, the song ended. slow applause resounded from the teens, and she grinned. M A T T K O B E D I L L A NMatt heard guitar playing and applause, and remembered he left his guitar on the bench. Angrily, he stormed over and snatched it out of her arms."I believe that's my guitar, Isabella." He snarled, and placed the guitar back in the case. He realized that he had lost his temper and sighed, defeated. He collapsed onto the bench beside her, which was now covered in shade."I'm sorry, Isabella. I lose my temper sometimes. But you really shouldn't use other people's things without asking." Matt explained, but anger still burned in the pit of his stomach. He didn't like people using his guitar. It was his guitar, not theirs, after all, wasn't it?

ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN isabella looked at the vampire, with slight disgust in her eyes, but that was hidden behind her shades. when he apologized, however, she nodded. "no,i'm sorry. i shouldn't have used it in the first place." she noticed that he used her name, and she asked him, curious, "what's your name?"

ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN "well," isabella said, then continued, with a smile. "it's nice to meet you, matt." finally, she learned someone's name! she laughed silently to herself. "how long have you been attending jefferson?" she asked.

((Hey y'all! Sorry I haven't replied, I completely forgot about this! xD))
Keirance Annabelle Péfu
Keirance pursed her lips as she saw the male below him begin to play his guitar. She nodded her head slowly to the beat; it was very catchy, and sounded . . . intelligible, too. Smiling faintly, she was about to comment when she noticed another girl walk over to him. Keirance knew she'd always been a sucker for the cliché guitar-playing, extremely cute men. But she kind of liked dorky guys, too. Chuckling, she continued to watch. Was that stalkerish? Keira shrugged.
Tilting her sunhat to the right side of her head after a moment, she stood up on the sturdy and long branch. She balanced, holding her hands out and giggled momentarily. Her feet found their place on each branch as she began to descend from the tree.
Leaping down from a branch not too far from the ground, she rubbed her hands together. Straightening her casual dress, she walked over to the guy and girl talking. Keira smiled brightly.
"Your guitar-playing was really good, although I might be a little late now," Keira said, laughing. She looked, studying the situation . . . had she been rude to butt in like that? Well, it was already done, but Keira felt a bit of redness rushing to her cheeks. "Oh, I'm so sorry if I interrupted anything!" Keirance heard some desperation in her voice. If only she hadn't come down here in the first place. I'm Keirance, just a Grade-A idiot!, Keirance thought to herself.

ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN isabella looked up to a pale female. she was fairly pretty, dressed in a floral sun dress and sun hat. she put on a small smile as the female spoke, her bright eyes wandering the pattern of the dress. and that's when she caught the stench of rizaki. it wasn't until the girl was done speaking that she realized that the smell was coming from her. she sneered, pulling her glasses to rest on her head.
the rizaki hadn't made any moves to attack her, so she relaxed, her shoulders shrugging lightly. she put the smile back on her face. "hey there," she greeted the girl, kind of wanting her to leave, but not wanting to seem..protective over the vampire sitting next to her. she adjusted her shirt, and looked back to the rizaki.

Keirance Annabelle PéfuKeirance smiled at the girl standing next to her, even though she smelled of werewolf. Keira wasn't much of the hateful type, even when it came to her 'enemy'. She always thought of it the other way around; she wouldn't like it if people who hadn't met her, hated her already. Shrugging out of her thoughts, her smile remained on her face. "Hi," Keirance said happily. "Again, sorry if I'm interrupting anything. And my name is Keirance," she introduced herself, holding her hand out to the redhead next to her. "What's your name?" She realized she might be inviting herself into their conversation; what if it'd been private? Keira let her imagination roam, but she snapped out of it. A bubbly smile returned to her face. ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN isabella smiled at the blond girl whom had introduced herself as keirance. when she held out her hand, isabella stood and slid her hand into keirance's. "bella," she told her, sticking to her nickname. she slid a glance towards matt, to make sure that he understood that 'bella' was acceptable, in case he didn't know for sure. she looked back at the rizaki who's hand she was shaking and smiled once more. "i'm, uh, new here," she told keirance, in case she couldn't tell.
