ISABELLA ARIA BRUNSMAN
isabella felt a presence beyond the large sycamore. she couldn't place it, but she knew something was there, waiting for her arrival, so that it could take her down. she weighed her options.
easily, she could face her attacker. she didn't feel much of a threat coming from the being, and she easily sized up the mass of the creature by listening to it move and breath. it wasn't much smaller than her wolf form, but it seemed strong.
then, there was the possibility that she could run from her fears, never to face them. that seemed out of the question, however, as isabella continued to press forward, in an predator's daze. she was going to find out what was behind that tree, even if it meant death. she slowly brought herself to the waning tree, it's branches casting shadows on the ground. she lowered her nose to the earth, and drew in a deep breath.
deer.
the wolf part in isabella was near over-joyed as she padded closer, and the fawn came into view. she slunk back out of sight, silently, not wanting her wolf instincts to take over, and to kill the poor, unsuspecting creature. so, slowly, she turned from the tree and began at a brisk pace back towards the park. when the swings and such came into view through the trees, she took a few steps back, out of view, and transformed into her human form.
isabella always took off her clothes, so not to lose them every time she formed. she reached up and grabbed her bra, thong and sundress. she slipped everything on, then pulled down her shoes. she slipped into her flip-flops, and made her way out of the forest, into the park.
it was a beautiful day. the sun was shining through the trees, and the only clouds in the sky were the good puffy kind. the color of the sky was a bright blue, that faded to a gray as it rounded to the horizon. there was a slight breeze, and it felt good to be at peace.
isabella spotted an unused bench and walked over, settling down on it. she watched couples walk past on the walkway and children playing with their dogs in the fields. this is the life, isabella thought, with a smile.
