A satisfied grin snuck it's way onto Matt's face. He stroked her hair, staring down her and quickly changing the smile to a frown. "I'll -" He cut himself off, about to suggest taking her home but instead saying, "Then go to sleep." He sighed, gently lifting Lucinda's head off his chest and rolling over, pulling her on top of him.

She shook her head. "I didnt mean tired like that." She said, readjusting herself ontop of him. "I ment I'm tired of the fighting, and I want it to stop. If Griffin doesn't want me anymore and you do." she paused and sat up so she was straddling him with her hands on his chest. "Well, if you'll have me. I'm yours." she offered, biting her lower lip and leaning down to kiss him.

"Well, if you'll have me, I'm yours."
Those words were what got him. He nodded, murmuring, "I'd like that." He stared up at her, her pale blonde hair glistening against the moonlight. He tucked a strand behind her ear, sitting up as well so that they were now just inches away and she was on his lap. He pulled away from the kiss, eyeing her with a lifted eyebrow. His lips moved toward her neck, his fangs gently grazing her perfect skin. He could imagine Lucinda tasting so good, the beautiful -
He froze suddenly. No, he couldn't even think about that. Not now. With a shake of his head, he went back to kissing her neck, keeping his fangs safely inside his mouth.

Fangs touched her neck and she shivered, knowing that he was a vampire didn't stop the shock that he could possibly try and feed from her. She tilted her head back a little to allow him better access with his kisses after he froze. She could tell what he was thinking and knew from the rigidness of his body that he wouldn't hurt her. Staring up at the dark blue of the sky she pushed her fingers through his hair. "It's alright." She said quietly, not saying he could bite her, but just letting him know she didnt mind that the possibility was there.

He shifted his position so that he was no longer so close to her. Now he was simply laying on the grass as well, his body still touching Lucinda's. He didn't want to tempt himself, and by being near her like that, he might go a little bit crazy. But the thought of her blood; rich, crimson red, delicious...
His eyes darted in her direction, now wide and slightly indimidating. He bit his lip, the thought of the sensation overwhelming. He tore at the grass with both of his hands, closing his eyes. He couldn't do this to her; he wouldn't do this to her. After finally winning her over, he wouldn't ruin everything with this. He swore it.
It didn't seem too promising when he was staring down at her, his eyes filled with bloodlust and his fangs bared.

Fear was something she'd never really developed around vampires, usually because they never tried to hurt her because she was close to so many of them. So even with Matt staring down at her, his eyes glazed over and fangs protruding his pretty face, her voice was calm as she spoke. "Matthew." She murmured, reaching up towards him. "Come back to me baby."

He didn't understand. At this moment, logic was nonexistant. All he wanted right now was Lucinda. Well, her blood, mostly. He could barely hear her words, and though they were there, he couldn't make sense of any of them. Right now, the bloodlust controlled him. His narrowed eyes landed on her neck, and with one quick glance at her face, his fangs pressed down on her neck, not biting just yet. He hesitated, knowing that in what swift movement, blood could be pouring out of there.

She sucked in a breath, and pushed her hands through his hair. It was almost funny; Matthew and Griffin. The two people who swore they loved her and would never hurt her, both killing her in one night. She relaxed against him, he'd always told her that it was easier if the victim was relaxed, made it less pained to die then if she'd struggled. She didn't want this to happen, but she couldn't tap into his human concious anymore. "I love you Matthew Halsting." She murmured, knowing that those may very well be the last things she said.

With full force, Matt pinned her hands down beside her, giving his head a shake and then, without any hesitation this time, let his fangs sink into her porcelain skin. At the moment, he didn't realize that he was hurting her, the woman that he told he loved. He didn't realize he was currently sucking the life out of her, the girl he had fought so hard for. He wasn't even human right now - not like he ever was, but right now, the whole concious side of him was gone, replaced by a vampire.
After a few moments, he pulled away, looking at the bloody mess he had made. "I love you too, Lucinda," he whispered, his eyes still glazed as he stared down at her still figure.

Dead? No, no, not yet. It still hurt. Everyone promised it didn't hurt. That leading up to death you hurt all your life, but once you were dead it all stopped. Calm, Peaceful, Better place. Why would they lie about something so wonderful? I vaguely felt fangs be pulled from my neck and a few spoken words. I couldn't make them out, but I knew it was Matt. Kill me. I thought, knowing I wouldnt be able to say it, but begging anyway.

Realization hit him suddenly, like a cold, hard slap in the face. He sat up slowly, rubbing his forehead and then staring down at the damage he had done. "Shit," he muttered, his hands immediately reaching for her neck, trying to stop the pain in any way he could. He didn't know how, though; he had been taught to kill, not to revive.
He knew one way that he could save her, though. Scowling and cursing under his breath, he leaned down towards her ear, giving her head a shake - he knew it must have hurt, though he needed to get her attention - and whispering, "Lucinda, let me turn you."

Pain rippled through her and tore a scream from her throat dispite her lack of breath. The shake made her head fuzzy and parts of her stop hurting after being hit by the aftershock of the jolt. That must have ment she was dying, If she stopped hurting she'd be dead right? She almost hoped he'd shake her again, put an end to it and she felt her body start to spasm along her shoulder and down her back. Echos. Lorcan would describe later, parts of the body still trying to function normally even as the body shut down. I let out a whimper as my head pounded. Hoping he'd kill me.

"Lucinda!" he shouted over her scream, furiously shaking her again. He had gone into full panic mode. "Answer me!" He bared his teeth, whispering loudly into her ear, "Do you want me to turn you or not?" If she answered no, that meant she would die, and he couldn't let that happen. Evidently, in the end he would end up turning her. Why not just get it over with now? He wanted her to say yes, to be okay with it. He didn't want to force her into years of what he suffered through every day.

She screamed again, this time feeling little parts of her catching on fire, her legs, her arms, her lungs, each one deprived of blood and therefore oxygen to work. She heard Matt's shouts but couldn't make out the words in her fogged mind to formulate an answer. Her cries echoes through the park, but none of the surrounding lights kicked on in any of the houses, it was normal to hear a night shriek in Simbol, and people knew to ignore it, cause if you answered you'd be killed as well. Make it stop. Make it stop.

Now that she obviously couldn't answer, he had no choice. "I am so sorry, Lu," he murmured quietly, knowing that she wouldn't be able to hear what he said but saying it anyway. To let her go, all he he would need to do was keep on drinking from her until she was drained and dead. The only way to save her, which would be to turn her, was to simply wait. Once the pain stopped, she would realize how weak she was and how much she needed blood. Eventually, after a few minutes, she would search for something to drink from. Matthew would be right there, waiting for her to regain conciousness. And after she drunk from him, well - that would be the end of her life as a human.
To think this was all his fault.
