Matthew trailed his fingers along her neck, stopping at the obvious bite mark staring blankly at him. He shook his head, turning his attention to Lucinda herself and sighing. "Go ahead and drink, Lu," he told her quietly, leaning a little closer than he was before with his arms wrapped around her. "You need to. It won't hurt me at all," he added, biting his lip.

Swallowing hard she parted her lips, trying to figure out how it all worked. She'd seen the others do it a million times but couldn't think of how to make herself do it. She knew usually Matt found it easier when he was turned on, and Jer when he was angry. Maybe it was an emotionally attached concept. Pushing him onto his back she straddled him, leaning over him and kissing his neck tentatively. "I don't want to hurt you." She said, even though he said it wouldn't she knew it was a lie. It always hurt.

"I don't mind," Matt responded in a whisper. He tried to supress the grin that began on his lips as she straddled him. "Seriously. I want you to," he added with a sigh, wanting to take control but knowing he should let Lucinda do what she wanted; whatever helped with getting her to drink, he was fine with it. That wasn't to say he couldn't help at all, though. He tilted his head, tugging her shirt to pull her closer to him and press his lips into her hair.

With him pulling her down to him she parted her lips against his skin, closing her eyes and biting down hard, feeling her fangs emerge and break skin. She let out a muffled moan, finding she needed it more then she'd assumed. She pressed herself closer to him, her thighs squeezing him just a little more as she drank, her hand tangled in his hair. No wonder Matthew had such a hard time controlling himself, it was better then just about anything she'd ever tasted, and just a little orgasmic.

Matthew flinched just slightly when she bit down on his neck. It only hurt for a moment, though; after the first bite, it became refreshing. It almost felt a little bit... good. His hand rubbed her small back, pushing her down to him and running his fingers through her hair. "Do you like it?" he asked quietly, knowing the answer would definitely be a yes, or a moan if anything.

Lucinda nodded, allowing him to push her down to him and pulled away after a few moments. Her mind racing and her body feeling like it was on fire, But not like before; this was a good one, a warmth spreading all over her and seeming to bring her back to life. She kissed his neck again, tantalizingly licking the excess blood from his neck and trailing kisses down to his chest. "Matthew." She purred, every sense alive and working overtime.

He grinned with obvious delight when she nodded, glad that she hadn't decided to pretend like she hated it or anything. That would simply make things more complicate, which might really suck for both of them. "Lucinda..." he murmured her name, cocking his head slightly to the side. He raised an eyebrow at her, watching how... excited she was. Maybe even a little bit too much - not good. He pushed him off of her, shaking his head with a frown.

Rejection hurts even more when its from the man who killed you. Lucinda let out what could only be described as a scoff as she fell over onto her side, and stayed there, like a rag doll thrown away. She stared as the blanket, her eyes going in and out of focus as she switched between lust and exhaustion. When she finally settled on one, it was exhaustion and hurt. "I'm sorry." She said, her eyes still staring at the bedsheets.

This was only making him feel worse. "No, Lucinda, don't be," he whispered, rolling back over to her and gently pulling her on top of him. He eyed the blood staining the sheets and then looked back at Lu, raising his eyebrows while wondering what she would do about the crimson still left on his neck. He closed the gap between their lips, slipping his arms around her waist and pressing himself against her.

She pulled away from the kiss, looking down at him. "No." She said softly, shaking her head and pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm tired, I just want to rest." She told him, laying her head on his chest, but not before kissing him once more, letting the kiss last longer then usual, as though still debating whether to stay awake or not.

A frown crossed his face, but not for long; it went away as her lips pressed anything but gently against his own. "Go to sleep, then," he whispered, pushing himself away from him and tucking a pillow under her head to replace his chest that she had been using. He hesitantly slid off the bed, not wanting to leave her, though knowing that he had his own bloodlust to control. "I'll be back soon," he told her, reaching for his leather jacket and heading for the door.

Her eyes followed him as far as the doorway before closing, listening for the sound of his footsteps in the hallway and the door closing behind him as he left. She was surprised to find she could still faintly hear him even with the door shut for a moment, before allowing herself to relax, and falling asleep amongst crimson stained sheets.
